Nutcracker

Here she is as Mouse King.
Up until Christmas Eve, our lives have been crazy with Nutcracker. It's always like that this time of year especially when you add Christmas shopping and everything that goes with it into the mix, and yet, I know I'll miss it when it ends. I thought this year would be our last year, and then after the last performance, Katherine said, "I wonder what I'll be next year?" This year, Kristina did a partnering part with her teacher from Russia as the lead Arabian. It was pretty challenging for her (with understanding his Russian English) and doing the partnering itself. She did a cool move where the dancers lifted her up and did awesome in all of her performances. Katherine was a baker and had a really cute costume and dance, too. We were definitely proud parents watching the girls dance!
