European Tour

Rich started working in the International Transfer Pricing group at his work last year.  A few weeks ago, he took his first business trip to meet with some of the companies they do business with. Each country has a picture of some favorite food.

He went to Dublin, Ireland, first.  Dublin has beautiful parks and the grass is so green.  Favorite food there was a sorbet trio:  lemon, strawberry and black currant.

The grass is so green--especially for October!

Then on to Paris.  A little sight seeing at the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph.  The city is rather dirty, but has some romantic tourist sites.  Favorite food was a melt-in-your mouth Chocolate lava type cake.

Vienna--Rich hadn't been back since his mission, so this is a special city for him. He had to get a Semmel (special Austrian roll) and some sausage first, plus a trip to the Hotel Sacher for some Sacher Torte.  He went to see some of the churches and out for his favorite Wiener Schnitzel with Cucumber Salad.  I think it was especially nice for him to find out how quickly his German came back.  I may get to go with him on his next trip in December!

Last stop, London.  He saw the famous Tower of London as well as the "L" a big Ferris Wheel.  My favorite picture was of Big Ben and it's detail.  There were some Bobbies (British Police) and Double Decker buses.  Had to have some fish and chips, of course!
